RocketBPM features: understand, share and improve processes
From a first process map to a process-driven organization: RocketBPM helps build a shared process understanding, step by step. This page shows what you can do with it and why each function exists.
Create process maps
Build clear, easy-to-understand process landscapes right in the editor, without folder structures, manual linking or tedious maintenance. The process map is where an organization sees which processes exist and how they belong together.
Model intuitively with swimlanes
Create swimlane models without training, with a clear grid and exactly the elements you really need: roles, activities, decisions and clear connections. The reduced notation keeps the focus on how work gets done, so people without BPM knowledge can read and discuss the result.
Reach relevant processes faster
Save important processes as favorites and open them straight from your personal start page. Process knowledge stays within reach, with no detours.
Contacts right at the process
Every process shows the responsible process management roles with photo and contact details. It is immediately clear who to reach out to with a question or a suggestion.
More than time, cost and quality: the Energy Meter
The Energy Meter shows how work feels for people: which activities give energy, and which drain it? This makes the human experience part of process management and gives teams a concrete starting point for improvement conversations.
Anchor process ownership in everyday work
Process owners, process architects and process managers keep the processes they are responsible for in view at all times. This is an important step toward a process-driven organization.
Inside the product
Behind these functions is software that takes care of the work around the models.
- Process architecture built automatically: process maps and swimlane models grow into a connected process world, without having to file and link models to each other by hand.
- Manage versions with confidence: every change automatically creates a new version. Earlier states can be restored at any time, while published processes stay reliably available.
- Approval with clear responsibility: process models are approved by the process owner and published at the desired time. Editorial changes can also be published directly when needed.
- International by design: RocketBPM supports nine languages and lets you export process content, have it translated and import it again.
How RocketBPM relates to BPMN
RocketBPM does not replace BPMN. It uses the New Process Notation for shared understanding at the business level. When individual processes call for deeper analysis or automation, they can be transferred to BPMN 2.0 and processed further there. More on the idea behind it: what is a Process Experience Platform?
Questions about RocketBPM features
What can I do with RocketBPM?
Create process maps and swimlane models without training, save favorites and use a personal start page, see contacts right at the process, use the Energy Meter, rely on automatic versioning and approval by process owners, and work in nine languages with export and import for translation.
Do I need BPM knowledge to model processes?
No. The swimlane editor uses a clear grid and only the elements you really need, so models can be created without training.
What does the Energy Meter show?
How work feels for people: which activities give energy and which drain it. It adds the human experience to time, cost and quality.
How many languages does RocketBPM support?
Nine. Process content can be exported, translated and imported again.
